Whether you’re a seasoned creature of the night or a new arrival to the broody lands, trying to claim what is rightfully yours: The open-world action-adventure Vampires: Bloodlord Rising, which combines story-based exploration with visceral combat, castle building and follower management, is welcoming you with its new substantial Halloween Update.

The wide-reaching changes and improvements to the combat system from new animations to fresh combos, re-defined controls and even the addition of a new dangerous enemy type, mark the latest in a series of meaningful updates from development studio Mehuman Games and German indie publisher Toplitz Productions. Since launching into Early Access, Vampires: Bloodlord Rising received numerous updates, driven directly by the invaluable player feedback, including performance optimizations, expanded gameplay systems and a rich character creator that lets you shape truly unique Vampires to roam these fateful lands.

The highlights of the Halloween Update include:

• New buildables: Trophies (unlocked by gathering the respective resources)
• General optimizations for performance, world stability and memory usage
• Additional new face preset in Character Creator
• New Item: Vial of Existence

More updates on the road to version 1.0, slated for release in 2027, are planned and will be rolled out in the coming months, refining and enhancing the gameplay experience and the game world even further.
